The wiring harness is directly compatible with such titles as:

Shinobi, Golden Axe, Aurail, Alien Syndrome, and other Sega System 16 PCBs.

Game Introduction

You have been raised from the grave (according to the digitized speech at the beginning) by Zeus to rescue his daughter from an evil, bald magician. Fight various types of nasties and end-of-level bosses along the way. At the end of each level, "evil baldy" appears and takes your power-ups away. The scoundrel also turns the daughter into a pigeon or something.

Level two features head suckers that can be shaken off by moving the joystick left and right quickly (very difficult to work out if you don't know the game). Kill the flashing white wolves to reveal power-ups. As you collect more power-ups you gain more muscles (are these steroids?) and eventually you will transform into a beast -- a different one each level. These beasts are: a werewolf, a flying weredragon, a werebear, a weretiger and finally the Golden Werewolf. After the evil magician has been defeated on the fifth level, Zeus' daughter will appear as a bird and then change back to her normal self again. After that, the game ends.

Scarcity in collections (VAPS.org)

Very Common - There are 78 known instances of this game owned by one of our 900 members. Of these, 9 of them are original dedicated machines, 12 of them are conversions in which game circuit boards (and possibly cabinet graphics) have been placed in (and on) another game cabinet, and 57 of them are only circuit boards which a collector could put into a generic case if desired.

Of the 52,009 video games (3,346 unique) tracked by the Video Game Preservation Society, this game ranks a 40 on a scale out of 100 (100 = most commonly seen, 1=least common) in popularity based on ownership records.

Wanted - There is one VAPS member currently looking for this game.

Rarity is NOT necessarily an indication of value. Some common games show up as very rare here because collectors don't want them (they are common because arcade operators might be sitting on tons of them in warehouses), while some fairly scarce games are grabbed by collectors every time they show up. Additionally, some games made in the last 5 years are still making money for operators and are thus not yet affordable to the typical collector. For a clue to value, compare how many people have this game vs. how many people want this game and then click on the eBay links to help determine an accurate price range.

Fixes

This PCB also suffers from the same problem as Shinobi, however the sound fix varies slightly. You still replace the custom Sega chip at with a standard Z80, however you replace the ROM at location A10, as opposed to A7 on Shinobi.
