Game Introduction

Each player can select from four distinctive characters: Prince Lassid, Princess Lisa, Sinbad or Afshael, each armed with their own special magic and powers.

A long, long time ago, the Evil One plagued the peaceful kingdom of Shahariyard. Reclaim the peace once taken by the Evil One. In order to save the King, who, by sorcery, had been transformed into a monkey, our heroes must find the Jewel of Seven Colors and release the evil hex. But, formidable monsters are lurking along their path.

Suspenseful battle scenes, skillful sword fights and a magic lamp with a powerful Genie which fells all enemies with a single blow, await the players. Can you survive unscathed and find the Jewel of Seven Colors? The adventure to restore peace to the kingdom begins.

Game Play

Throughout the game, the player characters can fight the enemies with their weapons and fighting techniques. They can also occasionally call the Genie to help them defeat their foes.

The game has seven different stages. Every stage includes a wide variety of impressive rounds, each giving the player a barrage of different attacks and plenty of unique items to uncover. Defeat a boss enemy at the end of each stage and get the Jewel of Seven Colors.

The game ends when the player has recovered the Jewel of Seven Colors, saved the King (while making him human again), restored peace to Shahariyard and cleared all seven stages.

Scarcity in collections (VAPS.org)

Scarce - There are 4 known instances of this game owned by one of our 900 members. Of these, 0 of them are original dedicated machines, 0 of them are conversions in which game circuit boards have been placed in another game cabinet, and 4 of them are only circuit boards which a collector could put into a generic case if desired.

Of the 42,694 video games (3,154 unique) tracked by the Video Game Preservation Society, this game ranks a 3 on a scale out of 100 (100 = most commonly seen, 1=least common) in popularity based on ownership records.

Wanted - We currently do not know of any VAPS members that have gotten around to adding this game to their wish list. The wish-list system is fairly new (not all VAPS members have filled one out) and there are probably a number of collectors who might purchase this game if offered one at the right price.

Rarity is NOT necessarily an indication of value. Some common games show up as very rare here because collectors don't want them (they are common because arcade operatos might be sitting on tons of them in warehouses), while some fairly scarce games are grabbed by collectors every time they show up. Additionally, some games made in the last 5 years are still making money for operators and are thus not yet affordable to the typical collector. For a clue to value, compare how many people have this game vs. how many people want this game and then click on the eBay links to help determine an accurate price range.
