Beatmania DescriptionFollow along with the song by scratching the turntable and pressing the keys as the bars reach the bottom of the screen. If you manage to successfully hit each note on-key perfectly, a combo meter will go up, increasing your score. Do well enough by the end of the song, and you can progress to the next level.Know anything more about this game? Then show your stuff in this music-simon says game by Konami, which spawned several spinoffs and updates with new music (denoted with "2nd Mix," "3rd Mix," etc.) such as Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Freaks, and Drum Mania.Game PlayStart by selecting a song, then attempt to match the notes by pressing the keys and scratching the turntable in time to the music. Perform well enough, and you can continue to the next stage!MiscellaneousThe game that started the whole "Bemani" series.Scarcity in collections (VAPS.org)Very Rare - According to a survey conducted by Video Arcade Preservation Society of approximately 910 collectors and their 20,000+ games, there are no known instances of this game owned by a known collector. This does not automatically mean that no examples exist, or even that only one or two machines exist.Wanted - There is one VAPS member currently looking for this game. Rarity is NOT necessarily an indication of value. Some common games show up as very rare here because collectors don't want them (they are common because arcade operators might be sitting on tons of them in warehouses), while some fairly scarce games are grabbed by collectors every time they show up. Additionally, some games made in the last 5 years are still making money for operators and are thus not yet affordable to the typical collector. For a clue to value, compare how many people have this game vs. how many people want this game and then click on the eBay links to help determine an accurate price range.
