DescriptionTwo pirates battle against a variety of enemies while picking up treasures in a quest to find and kill The Evil Wizard.Know anything more about this game? Game IntroductionPlayers choose one of the two pirate characters: One-Eye or Red Dog. An Evil Wizard has stolen all of the pirates' booty and One-Eye and Red Dog must find the wizard and kill him. The pirates use swords to fight against the enemies. During the quest, each player character can collect gold dubloons, pieces of eight, gems and other treasures. For extra health, they can pick up food and drinks such as fruit, meat and rum. On some stages, the pirates must rescue imprisoned wenches.Stage settings include enemy pirate ships, island grounds, fortresses and caves. Attackers include enemy pirates, foot soldiers and ninjas. Boss enemies include an enemy pirate captain, an axeman, Medusa and, of course, the Evil Wizard himself. The game ends when the wizard is killed on the final stage and the pirates have reclaimed their entire cache of treasure. Scarcity in collections (VAPS.org)Uncommon - There are 10 known instances of this game owned by one of our 900 members. Of these, 3 of them are original dedicated machines, 0 of them are conversions in which game circuit boards have been placed in another game cabinet, and 7 of them are only circuit boards which a collector could put into a generic case if desired.Of the 42,694 video games (3,154 unique) tracked by the Video Game Preservation Society, this game ranks a 8 on a scale out of 100 (100 = most commonly seen, 1=least common) in popularity based on ownership records. Wanted - We currently do not know of any VAPS members that have gotten around to adding this game to their wish list. The wish-list system is fairly new (not all VAPS members have filled one out) and there are probably a number of collectors who might purchase this game if offered one at the right price. Rarity is NOT necessarily an indication of value. Some common games show up as very rare here because collectors don't want them (they are common because arcade operatos might be sitting on tons of them in warehouses), while some fairly scarce games are grabbed by collectors every time they show up. Additionally, some games made in the last 5 years are still making money for operators and are thus not yet affordable to the typical collector.
