The game zooms between alternate large and small scale (four-way scrolling) sections.Know anything more about this game? Game IntroductionOther supervillians in this game, besides Dr. Doom, include Venom, The Scorpion, The Lizard, The Green Goblin, The Sandman, The Kingpin, The Hobgoblin, Electro and Dr. Octopus. Each player character has a different weapon or power that can be used throughout the game while fighting. Spider-Man uses his webs, The Black Cat uses her "cat's claw" grappling hook and cable, Hawkeye uses his bow and arrows and The Sub-Mariner uses his hydro-electric charges. The game ends when the fourth and final chapter has been completed. Game PlayThere is no individual Mutant Power button. Push the two player buttons at the same time to fire this weapon.VAPS Arcade CensusGAMES OWNED, WANTED, or FOR SALE BY MEMBERS OF THE VIDEO ARCADE PRESERVATION SOCIETYCommon - There are 40 known instances of Spider-Man owned by one of our 900 members. Of these, 8 of them are original dedicated machines, 5 of them are conversions in which game circuit boards (and possibly cabinet graphics) have been placed in (and on) another game cabinet, and 27 of them are only circuit boards which a collector could put into a generic case if desired. Wanted - There are 5 VAPS members currently looking for Spider-Man. There are 2 VAPS members looking for Spider-Man board sets. For Sale - There are 2 VAPS members with Spider-Man machines for sale. There is one VAPS member with an extra Spider-Man circuit board for sale. VAPS members are totally independent of VAPS and the International Arcade Museum, and we are unable to recommend, endorce, or guarantee any person or company selling games or game parts. Rarity is NOT necessarily an indication of value. Some common games show up as very rare here because collectors don't want them (they are common because arcade operators might be sitting on tons of them in warehouses), while some fairly scarce games are grabbed by collectors every time they show up. Additionally, some games made in the last 5 years are still making money for operators and are thus not yet affordable to the typical collector. For a clue to value, compare how many people have this game vs. how many people want this game and then click on the eBay links to help determine an accurate price range. TechnicalSpider-Man is JAMMA but REQUIRES the Test and Service switches to adjust game play options, run tests, and access statistics. If you want more than 2 player controls (up to 4) there are additional connectors:
