WWF Royal Rumble DescriptionA cool 3-D wrestling game from THQ that features WWF characters such as The Rock and "Stone Cold Steve Austin." Attack players to build up super finishing moves. There are two modes of play: Exhibiton and Royal Rumble.Know anything more about this game? Cabinet InformationThis game is available in the standard Naomi cabinet, or the two-screen versions. The latter was similiar in design to the one used for Title Fight.Cheats, Tricks and BugsIt is a piece of cake to throw people out of the ring if you just run along the edges of the ropes throwing "clotheslines."Game IntroductionThe game has 19 different selectable wrestlers including The Rock, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Mankind, Triple H, The Undertaker, Kane, X-Pac, Road Dogg, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Tazz, D'Lo Brown, The Godfather, Edge, Chris Jericho, Al Snow, Rikishi and The Big Show.Game PlayIn Exhibition mode, each player can select two different wrestlers; one to be the participant in the ring and the other to be the cornerman at ringside. Each player can have his or her participant wrestler constantly have his or her cornerman wrestler attack his or her opponent or even double team his or her opponent. Occasionally there will be two, three or four other wrestlers who will come into the ring to either assist or interfere. In The Royal Rumble mode, each player can select one wrestler and try to eliminate as many of the other wrestlers in the Royal Rumble as possible without being eliminated himself or herself. VAPS Arcade CensusGAMES OWNED, WANTED, or FOR SALE BY MEMBERS OF THE VIDEO ARCADE PRESERVATION SOCIETYUncommon - There are 18 known instances of WWF Royal Rumble owned by one of our 3,650 members who participate in our machine census project. Of these, 2 of them are original dedicated machines, 2 of them are conversions in which game circuit boards (and possibly cabinet graphics) have been placed in (and on) another game cabinet, and 14 of them are only circuit boards which a collector could put into a generic case if desired. Wanted - There is one VAPS member currently looking for WWF Royal Rumble. For Sale - There are 2 VAPS members with WWF Royal Rumble machines for sale. VAPS members are totally independent of VAPS and the International Arcade Museum, and we are unable to recommend, endorce, or guarantee any person or company selling games or game parts. Rarity is NOT necessarily an indication of value. Some common games show up as very rare here because collectors don't want them (they are common because arcade operators might be sitting on tons of them in warehouses), while some fairly scarce games are grabbed by collectors every time they show up. Additionally, some games made in the last 5 years are still making money for operators and are thus not yet affordable to the typical collector. For a clue to value, compare how many people have this game vs. how many people want this game and then click on the eBay links to help determine an accurate price range.
