Speed Buggy (Buggy Boy) Description

A colorful triple-screen buggy racing game with five different racetracks: Circuit Off-Road, North Monte Carlo, East Safari, West Paris Dakar and South Southern Cross. Drive through different terrains avoiding other vehicles and picking up bonus items. Gates provide bonus points.

Game Play

Player must drive around dunes and through gates while avoiding other buggies. The race is timed and there are checkpoints.

Miscellaneous

This game was licensed from Tatsumi which also licensed TX-1 to Atari. The boards may be very similar. Speed Buggy also came in a deluxe sit-down 3-monitor version just like TX-1.
