Description

Do you like plump women Yes Well this is the game for you... Or at least thats what the advertisement for this game is suggesting. Muchi Muchi Pork is a new vertical shooter from the gods of vertical shooters at Cave. The game stars two buxom pigbabes and one notsobuxom pigbabe as they fly through the air collecting points and pork.As far as Cave shooters go, this one seems to fall somewhere between Dodonpachi and Ibara. The games bullet patterns are nowhere near as crazy as Mushi Himesama, so the hit box is a little bigger, and the game has satellites like in Ibara, just without the customization. Powerups tend to come very quickly and the amount you need to get fully poweredup is small, so its easy to get into the heat of things pretty much right out of the gate. MMP also sports an interesting and sort of easy combo system when you shoot and kill enemies you fill up your what looks like a sausage meter, and then that meter powers your special pointearning giant laser. When you use this laser all the enemies you kill dump a ton of bronze points that you can grab all at once by letting go of the A button. As long as you keep getting those bronze points you can continue your combo and rack up the mega points.Graphically, Muchi Muchi features pretty standard lowres 2D sprites. Unlike other Cave shooters, though, this one has a lot of different bullet types that are often much bigger than your character sprite. So while it doesnt look all that impressive, there is no doubt its taxing the hardware. There is also some cut scenes before boss fights that feature nicely detailed character art. Although no plans for a console port have been revealed thus far, most of Caves previous shooters have found their way home, so hopefully this one will experience the same fate. phttpwww.arcadeflyers.compagethumbsdbvideogameid5359phttpen.wikipedia.orgwikiCave_companyp
