Game Introduction

The game is based upon the Toei anime series of the same name. It features characters and enemies from the original "Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon" series, including the occasional assist from Tuxedo Kamen and Queen Beryl as the final enemy.

Game Play

Up to two Sailor Senshi can attack familar-looking enemies in traditional scrolling fighter style. Each Sailor Senshi can punch, kick, jump, and throw. Clear each area of enemies to advance in the stage, then defeat the boss at the end of each stage to move on to the next.

Objects can either be dropped by enemies or revealed after hitting various obstacles. They include food to replenish lost health, various trinkets for bonus points, and magic crystals that are needed to activate the Special attack.

You must have at least one crystal to use the special attack (which attacks all enemies on screen), and you can hold up to five. The more crystals you have when you use special power, the more effective it is. Each level carries its own unique animation. At five, you see the Sailor Senshi's signature attack from the anime (Sailor Moon: Moon Tiara Action, Sailor Mercury: Mercury Bubble Spray, Sailor Mars: Mars Fire Soul, Sailor Jupiter: Supreme Thunder, Sailor Venus: Twin Crescent Beam).
