In this game you can choose either the driving stage or the shooting stage. During the driving stage you must try to catch up with criminals in a getaway car by steering your patrol car in the right directions while following them. The gameplay for the shooting stage is very similar to American Laser Games' Crime Patrol. Here you must shoot criminals who are armed and dangerous while trying not to shoot any innocent by-standers or fellow officers.
If you are shot three times, you lose a life. Your gun can shoot up to six bullets at a time. To reload your gun, shoot the gun display. The game also features the familiar Bad Boys theme song.
