An action role-playing game in which Clovis, the "Dragon Buster" of the title, travels through various scenery to rescue Princess Celia from an evil dragon. Afterwards, the game begins again, with Celia wearing a different outfit each time she's rescued.

This game was ported to the Japanese Famicom, after which there was a Famicom-only sequel. Another sequel to this game is Dragon Valor, released for the original Playstation. Of these home games, only Dragon Valor was released in the U.S.
