Heavyweight Champ

This boxing simulator challenges the player to fight to the "Heavyweight" championship and then defend that championship by fighting increasingly difficult opponents. Game features a unique control system that allows player to virtually fight computer opponents and vent pent-up frustrations.

The player fights increasingly difficult opponents to gain and defend their championship. Fights last for one three-minute round. If the player wins, he or she advances to the next opponent.

The player controls Michael "K.O." Bison and he must face five different opponents in five respective matches:

1. Alex Allegro
2. Tom "Cyclone" Kearns
3. George "Iceberg" Cooler
4. MacBeth "Vulture" Hungler

All opponents must be defeated in order for Michael "K.O." Bison to become the champion and then he must defend his title against the same four repspective opponents in the following matches.

An extremely heavy red, white, and blue cabinet that features a stationary base with a swiveling control panel/monitor on the upper section. The marquee is affixed to the top of the upper section.

The unique controls make this game virtually impossible to convert to or from another game.

DIP switches set difficulty, continue availability, and game clock speed. The game uses a Motorola 68000 processor.

The controls are extremely prone to failure due to the large amout of punishment incurred during game play. The game can require frequent machining of replacement control parts.
