Police 24/7 DescriptionA game where player takes the role of a Los Angeles Police Officer who fights members of the Japanese Mafia. This unique game senses body movement rather than requiring the player to move individual controls.Know anything more about this game? Cabinet InformationThe two stereo speakers are mounted behind the marquee and the center channel speaker is located in the control panel.Game IntroductionThis is a sequel to the motion-sensor shooter Police 911 and features five new stages and four selectable player characters.Game PlayThe player stands on a yellow foot pad, and interacts with the onscreen action by physically dodging left, right and ducking to avoid danger and reloading your weapon. Three infared sensors (left, right, center), mounted on a bar overhead, detect the player's body position and reflect that information back to the game. These "real world" actions are reflected on the game screen by making your virtual character interact with obstacles within the game. This added level of interactivity surpasses the standard rail shooters of previous gun games.VAPS Arcade CensusGAMES OWNED, WANTED, or FOR SALE BY MEMBERS OF THE VIDEO ARCADE PRESERVATION SOCIETYScarce - There are 3 known instances of Police 24/7 owned by one of our 3,650 members who participate in our machine census project. Some common games show up as very rare here because collectors don't want them (they are common because arcade operators might be sitting on tons of them in warehouses), while some fairly scarce games are grabbed by collectors every time they show up. Additionally, some games made in the last 5 years are still making money for operators and are thus not yet affordable to the typical collector.
