Conversion

There is also the Yamaha GD-ROM Drive, which is available. It is both compatible with both the NAOMI and the new NAOMI2 Systems. These proprietary-format discs can hold more data (1 GB) and are more economical than cartridges.

Technical

There is also an enhanced version of the Naomi board, called the Hikaru board. This was used for Brave Firefighters and Star Wars Racer Arcade.

The NAOMI/Hikaru boards are slightly more advanced than Dreamcasts, so it takes a while to convert the games.
