Game Play

Take the role of either Asterix or Obelix in a number of bold (and funny) adventures around Europe and beyond. There are lots of funny moves (known from the comics) that can be performed by special joystick and button combinations as explained in the attract mode of the game.

Drinking the magic poition (Asterix) or eating a roast (Obelix) will make them briefly invincible and allow them to plow through Romans, causing them to drop their helmets before running away.

TIP: When playing as Obelix, he starts each stage with his big rock. Try to bash as many Romans as you can with it before you toss it away. Romans you drive away with the rock will drop helmets (worth bonus points).
