Die Hard Arcade DescriptionA 3-D side-scrolling fighting game based on the movie "Die Hard".Know anything more about this game? Game IntroductionEach player controls a SWAT member whose mission is go after an evil crime boss and rescue the President's daughter as they find their way through a large building and fight through many battlefields of dangerous criminals and machines.Game PlayEach SWAT member must fight every criminal and machine that they come across by punching them, kicking them as well as using various weapons and objects that they can get their hands on including handguns, machine guns, missile launchers, anti-tank cannons, knives, sticks, fireaxes, spray cans, pepper shakers, steel pipes, brooms, bottles and so on. Players can also pick up magazines for handguns and machine guns for extra ammuntion as well as health units for extra health. Also, on some sequences, players must press the Punch button, Kick button or Jump button or move the joystick in a specific direction in order to successfully get past certain enemies or obstacles. If either of the SWAT members fail on those sequences where they are supposed to punch or kick down those enemies, they will have to fight them in hand-to-hand combat. The SWAT members can also attack enemies when grabbing them and they can also arrest them when they grab them by pushing either the Punch or Kick button twice but only if the SWAT member has a handgun. When the SWAT members finally confront the crime boss, they will have to face him twice; first in the office and then on the rooftop. On the rooftop, he will be armed with swords and more difficult to hurt. After, you defeat the crime boss for the second time, The President's daughter is rescued. If only one player is in the game, the girl just says "Thank You!" and the game ends. But if two players are in the game, after the girl says "Thank You!", she will want one of the SWAT members to become her new bodyguard as a thanks for rescueing her, so each player will have to fight each other until one of them is defeated and whoever wins will become the girl's new bodyguard but if time runs out, it will be a draw and the girl will be undecided about which SWAT member she wants for her new bodyguard. The game ends afterwards, regardless of the results. Of these, 18 of them are original dedicated machines, it is a conversion in which game circuit boards (and possibly cabinet graphics) have been placed in (and on) another game cabinet, and 41 of them are only circuit boards which a collector could put into a generic case if desired. Wanted - There are 2 VAPS members currently looking for Die Hard Arcade. For Sale - There are 8 VAPS members with Die Hard Arcade machines for sale. There are 8 VAPS members with extra Die Hard Arcade circuit boards for sale. VAPS members are totally independent of VAPS and the International Arcade Museum, and we are unable to recommend, endorce, or guarantee any person or company selling games or game parts. Rarity is NOT necessarily an indication of value. Some common games show up as very rare here because collectors don't want them (they are common because arcade operators might be sitting on tons of them in warehouses), while some fairly scarce games are grabbed by collectors every time they show up. Additionally, some games made in the last 5 years are still making money for operators and are thus not yet affordable to the typical collector.
