Eagle DescriptionFly your tri-stage spaceship through wave after wave of alien bird-like ships. Dock your ships onto one another for greater score and firepower! From Attract Mode: "EAGLE" "You can have a lot of fun and thrill".Know anything more about this game? Cabinet InformationThe sides of the cabinet are decorated with huge stickers of a ship breaking into three parts orbiting a dish-shaped planet. The word "EAGLE" is written in large letters diagonally across most of the side with round alien ships placed around it.The control panel has an overlay sticker containing docking instructions and labels for the left, right, and one/two player start buttons. Pictures of asteroids and a planet also decorate control panel. The marquee has a different, older-looking tri-stage ship with little planets and alien ships scattered around. The word EAGLE is positioned on the right hand side with what looks like wings on each side. The game was also released as a cabaret. This cabinet has a different overlay than the upright, the title appears on the front bottom of the overlay with the wing design, there is a small spaceship on the right side, and there is no ship on top of the control panel. Game PlayMove from left to right shooting bird like creatures to advance stages. The thing that makes this game unique though, is the fact that you can dock your ships onto each other for greater firepower (and score). Each of your players ships are special in that they are all different. At 30,000 or 50,000 you are awarded and extra set of ships to continue the fight.MiscellaneousCOPY OF: Moon CrestaThe game has slightly altered graphics compared to the original concept game. VAPS Arcade CensusGAMES OWNED, WANTED, or FOR SALE BY MEMBERS OF THE VIDEO ARCADE PRESERVATION SOCIETYCommon - There are 25 known instances of Eagle owned by one of our 900 members. Of these, 19 of them are original dedicated machines, and 6 of them are only circuit boards which a collector could put into a generic case if desired. Wanted - There are 2 VAPS members currently looking for Eagle. For Sale - There are 4 VAPS members with Eagle machines for sale. VAPS members are totally independent of VAPS and the International Arcade Museum, and we are unable to recommend, endorce, or guarantee any person or company selling games or game parts. Rarity is NOT necessarily an indication of value. Some common games show up as very rare here because collectors don't want them (they are common because arcade operators might be sitting on tons of them in warehouses), while some fairly scarce games are grabbed by collectors every time they show up. Additionally, some games made in the last 5 years are still making money for operators and are thus not yet affordable to the typical collector. For a clue to value, compare how many people have this game vs. how many people want this game and then click on the eBay links to help determine an accurate price range. TechnicalEagle uses standard power requirements making replacement power supplies a snap. There are a number of daughter boards and extra wires present on the PCB's (two equal pieces) to make removal a nightmare.eBay ListingsClick here to automatically search eBay's Arcade, Jukebox, and Pinball categories for the Eagle Videogame machine and items related to it.Click here to automatically search eBay's Arcade, Jukebox, and Pinball categories for machines and parts made by Centuri.
