10-Yard Fight DescriptionThe player must score a touchdown in the time allotted to go from high school and college ball all the way to the Pros and the Super Bowl.Know anything more about this game? ConversionThis game shares a common pinout with other Irem games like Moon Patrol, Kid Niki: Radical Ninja, Kung-Fu Master, and MotoRace USA.Game PlayEach level starts on the kick-off with the player carrying the ball as far up the field as possible before being tackled. Then, as the quarterback, you can either run or pass the ball to a receiver. An intercepted pass earns a penalty of 20 yards. Running out of bounds stops the clock. Extra points after touchdowns can either be kicked or run into the end zone.MiscellaneousLICENSOR: IremVAPS Arcade CensusGAMES OWNED, WANTED, or FOR SALE BY MEMBERS OF THE VIDEO ARCADE PRESERVATION SOCIETYCommon - There are 28 known instances of 10-Yard Fight owned by one of our 3,650 members who participate in our machine census project. Of these, 3 of them are original dedicated machines, 2 of them are conversions in which game circuit boards (and possibly cabinet graphics) have been placed in (and on) another game cabinet, and 23 of them are only circuit boards which a collector could put into a generic case if desired. Wanted - There is one VAPS member currently looking for 10-Yard Fight. For Sale - There is one VAPS member with a 10-Yard Fight machine for sale. VAPS members are totally independent of VAPS and the International Arcade Museum, and we are unable to recommend, endorce, or guarantee any person or company selling games or game parts. Rarity is NOT necessarily an indication of value. Some common games show up as very rare here because collectors don't want them (they are common because arcade operators might be sitting on tons of them in warehouses), while some fairly scarce games are grabbed by collectors every time they show up. Additionally, some games made in the last 5 years are still making money for operators and are thus not yet affordable to the typical collector.
