Mr. Do!'s Wild Ride

Description

Mr Do!, the clown, runs along a rollercoaster track, which loops around the screen, attempting to reach the goal. He must avoid on-coming cars moving down the track by climbing ladders. Pick up cherries and flags for additional bonuses. Played against the clock.

Game Play

The usual Do-series cherries are present, but are not used in the same way as other games. Collecting them just changes the 'prize' found at the goal. The prize can be one or two letters from EXTRA, or other items which just score points. When you reach the Goal, Mr. Do waves the flag there while the bonus counter is added to his score. Mr. Do does not have his power ball in this game, holding the button makes Mr. Do run faster along the track, and his bonus points go down quicker. When you collect all the EXTRA letters, another Mr. Do is awarded. There do not seem to be any intermissions between levels as in Mr. Do. The first level is a circus roller coaster. The other screens retain the roller coaster track but can be identified by the different obstacles on-screen. Level 2, pirate ship. Level 3, three elevators. Level 4, castle on screen. Level 5, multiple columns. Level 6, six rings. After this the levels repeat.
