Description

The object is to hit opposing players with the ball while avoiding being hit in return. Once a player has been hit three times, that player is out of the game. The game is won by knocking all the opposing players out of the game.

Play as either the Nekketsu High Dodgeball Club (player one) or, their bitter rivals, the Hanasono High Dodgeball Team (player two). These teams represent Japan in the international Dodgeball tournament where they compete against five other nations such as England, Iceland, China, Africa and America.

This game is part of Technos' long-running Kunio-Kun series which includes the NES cult hit River City Ransom (known in Japan as Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari), Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-Kun and others.

This game is the Japanese version of Super Dodge Ball (original). The title literally translates to "Hot-Blood High School Dodgeball Club." It stars Kunio from Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-Kun with Riki as the second player.
