Game Introduction

The first 3-D version of the fantastic Samurai Shodown series. Fight through all the characters to reach one of two sub-bosses, and then the final boss. Or be lucky to fight a secret character at any time, which brings you straight to the sub-boss after defeating him.

Game Play

Each character has a "stamina bar" which decreases with excessive movement and attacks. Back off, or take a breather while your opponent is down to rebuild stamina. The side-step also uses a good portion of stamina. Also, watch the POW meter. Once it reaches maximum, that player has the ability to obtain unlimited stamina for a period of time, and the ability to execute a super move, with devastating results.

Fixes

Sometimes the text for the game has lines through it, which also affects the health bars. A common problem is the game cartidge is not pushed in all the way. Turn off the board, and make sure it's pushed down all the way. If the problem persists, the connectors on the JAMMA edge may be dirty. Simply get an eraser (like on a pencil), and clean pins 12, 13, 14, N, and P (on the game edge, not the JAMMA harness) simply by rubbing the eraser head on the metal. You will notice the eraser coming off with a LOT of grime.
