Cheats, Tricks and BugsWhen your POW meter is at it's maximum, press the LightSlash+HardSlash+Throw to have unlimited stamina for a period of time. When your POW meter is at it's maximum, press the HardSlash+Throw+SideStep to execute a super move.ConversionThis runs on the Hyper Neo Geo, and has the same pinout as the 16-bit Neo Geo. The Hyper Neo Geo also takes game "cartridges" similar to the 16-bit Neo Geo.Game IntroductionThe first 3-D version of the fantastic Samurai Shodown series. Fight through all the characters to reach one of two sub-bosses, and then the final boss. Or be lucky to fight a secret character at any time, which brings you straight to the sub-boss after defeating him.Game PlayEach character has a "stamina bar" which decreases with excessive movement and attacks. Back off, or take a breather while your opponent is down to rebuild stamina. The side-step also uses a good portion of stamina. Also, watch the POW meter. Once it reaches maximum, that player has the ability to obtain unlimited stamina for a period of time, and the ability to execute a super move, with devastating results.VAPS Arcade CensusGAMES OWNED, WANTED, or FOR SALE BY MEMBERS OF THE VIDEO ARCADE PRESERVATION SOCIETYCommon - There are 33 known instances of Samurai Shodown 64 owned by one of our 900 members. Rarity is NOT necessarily an indication of value. Some common games show up as very rare here because collectors don't want them (they are common because arcade operators might be sitting on tons of them in warehouses), while some fairly scarce games are grabbed by collectors every time they show up. Additionally, some games made in the last 5 years are still making money for operators and are thus not yet affordable to the typical collector. For a clue to value, compare how many people have this game vs. how many people want this game and then click on the eBay links to help determine an accurate price range. FixesSometimes the text for the game has lines through it, which also affects the health bars. A common problem is the game cartidge is not pushed in all the way. Turn off the board, and make sure it's pushed down all the way. If the problem persists, the connectors on the JAMMA edge may be dirty. Simply get an eraser (like on a pencil), and clean pins 12, 13, 14, N, and P (on the game edge, not the JAMMA harness) simply by rubbing the eraser head on the metal. You will notice the eraser coming off with a LOT of grime.eBay ListingsClick here to automatically search eBay's Arcade, Jukebox, and Pinball categories for the Samurai Shodown 64 Videogame machine and items related to it.Click here to automatically search eBay's Arcade, Jukebox, and Pinball categories for machines and parts made by SNK.
