KLOV-Palm7 brings the power of over 3250 web pages from the Internet's largest coin-operated video game site directly to the Palm 7. WebMagic Wireless and the KLOV bring this "web-clipping" application to you free of charge. As such, we do not have the resources to provide technical support for this product and by downloading or using this application, you agree to hold us harmless from any loss or damage that might be caused by this product, including but not limited to any issues regarding your PalmNet bill. KLOV-Palm7 was created to serve the needs of arcade coin-op collectors who wanted to have "on the road" access to the KLOV such, for example, as might be useful while attending video game auctions.

This page assumes you already already have a Palm 7, that you have a subscription to the PalmNet service, and that you know how to use the Palm Desktop 'Install Tool.' If you are not familiar with Palm 7 web clipping applications, please refer to the manuals that came with your Palm 7.

We offer 2 versions of KLOV-Palm7:

1. KLOV-Palm7. This is the recommended version for most users with lots of memory still available on their Palm 7's. This version stores all the KLOV index pages directly on the palm, thus saving time and your precious PalmNet monthly transfer limits. With this version you will have access to the very latest pages for each game title. However, you will not have access to new titles added to the KLOV without downloading and installing a new version of KLOV-Palm7. At this point in time, most additions to the KLOV tend to be very obscure titles or new releases. This 277k download takes up 203k on your Palm7.

2. KLOV-Palm7-L. This 14k download only takes up 3.3k of space on your Palm7. The A-Z index pages are -not- stored on the Palm7. Instead they are downloaded as needed. Since the index pages are not cached, all new titles added to the KLOV are instantly available on your Palm 7. This version is recommended for those users for whom Palm 7 available memory is at a premium. This version might also be of interest to users who subscribe to PalmNet's $44.95/month unlimited service plan. (see http://www.palm.com/products/palmvii/serviceplans.html ).

* Please note that although KLOV-Palm7 offers a highly optimized interface to the KLOV, individual KLOV game pages still tend to have a lot of text on them. If you intend to access the KLOV regularly from your Palm 7, we strongly advise you to examine your usage of the PalmNet service and to consider their unlimited service plan. In addition, we recommend that you check back here every 4 months or so for anticipated updates.
